Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council
CRMDSC is one of 23 regional affiliates of the National Minority Supplier Development Council. Their mission is to assist our corporate members in improving the diversification and innovation of their supply chains by connecting them to well developed, certified minority business enterprises.
Strategic Partners
Virginia APEX Accelerator offers specialized services such as; navigating government databases, providing guidance on socio-economic certifications, answering contract management questions, and marketing to the government. Counseling is free of charge to Virginia based businesses in our service area who meet the qualifications for assistance.
Virginia Small Business Development Center (SBDC) If you are an aspiring entrepreneur or an existing business owner, the SBDC offers no-cost individualized advising, from start-up to established business. They have 26 local offices across the state providing professional business advising, training, and business resources to help grow and strengthen your businesses. SBDC assists with business planning, marketing, financial analysis, access to capital, business start-up and other specialized services as requested.
The HIVE – VB Business Resource Center is a business resource center designed to support an innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystem in Virginia Beach. The HIVE offers mentorship, networking, and a variety of fundamental resources to those who need them.
Metropolitan Business League is a membership-based business association that creates business connections in Central Virginia. They fostered business development and expansion for small, women- and minority-owned businesses. As a member, you become part of a strong network of businesses, government entities, and educational institutions, that encourage teaming relationships and assists in their members’ efforts to secure procurement awards.
Arlington Economic Development (AED) BizLaunch is Arlington County’s small business and entrepreneurial assistance network, and your one-stop-shop for everything you’ll need to know about starting or growing a business in Arlington. BizLaunch partners with a wide variety of small business organizations to provide you with information on writing a business plan, taxes, permits, licensing, marketing, financing and just about anything else you’ll need to know to start or grow your business in Arlington.
